Review Vans Warped Tour Eindhoven 2013

A few days before the event was due it became public that the program would be announced on the location during the event. Bummer. There were only a few bands I really liked so what if I arrived at 11:00 and the first good band started at 15:00? But it wasn’t a big deal, because I was with my friends so it would be fun anyway. We arrived at station Eindhoven Beukenlaan after a train ride of 2 hours (it felt like 5). That’s where the fun began because the queue already started when we left the railway station. That’s about 300 meters. After queuing for an hour we were finally inside. It was reeeeally crowded, a bit too much if you ask me.

The first band we wanted to see (Memphis May Fire) wasn’t due for quite some time, so we decided to eat something first. Again, it was very crowded at the food stands. But the food was good and affordable so that was a plus.
30 minutes before Memphis May Fire started we went to their stage. There was a half pipe and people skateboarding on it, really awesome. The band played very well, so the concert was great. After that we saw We Came As Romans and Hacktivist. Hacktivist was really good, I would really like to see them again some other time. After Hacktivist we saw a little bit of Enter Shikari, then we ate pizza (I think we were queuing for 45 minutes) and we went home.
Vans Warped Tour was fun, but since it’s so crowded I’m not sure if I would go again next year.
